THE WAVE WATERPARK IS DONE HIRING!

Whether it's at the competition pool or the Lazy River, Lifeguards supervise swimming activities, ensure safety procedures are followed, and overall keep our guests safe. Safety is number one priority at the Wave Waterpark. Lifeguards are also in charge of dispatching guests at the Slide tower and Flow Rider. No experience is necessary.  

As a Lifeguard you also have the opportunity to be a Swim Instructor, Flow Rider Instructor, and Camp Counselor!

 2024 Lifeguard Training Dates (only need to attend one LG training):

• #1: April 5-7
• #2: April 12-14
• #3: April 19-21
• #4: May 10-12

Swim Lesson Instructor Overview

The Wave Waterpark runs swim lessons from April to September. Lifeguards interested in teaching swim lessons will be able to sign up for training dates in April. Swim lessons are designed to teach confidence in and around the poolside to students. Instructors are trained to:

• Provide safety for the students.
• Provide a positive, happy experience for the students.
• Teach the students to enjoy water.
• Teach the students to swim.
• Teach the students water safety.
• Emphasize self-help.
• Provide students with a report card, which includes a skills checklist and recommendations from the instructors on the next class they should enroll in.

Concessions at the Wave's Surf Spot Grill is in charge of making sure our guests don't go hungry! Your responsibilities include making amazing snow cones, cashiering, food running, and pizza making. No experience is necessary, training is provided on site. 

At the Front Gate, Ticket Booth, and Wave Shack, our guest service attendants are always ready with a smile to welcome our guests! Guest Services is one of our smaller departments and positions are limited. A great customer service attitude is a must. Your responsibilities include processing sales transactions, admitting entrance to ticket holders and Season Pass holders,  assisting guests with park information, and finding solutions to guest concerns. No experience is necessary, training is provided on site.

Park Services is an essential part of our park operations. Park Services is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the park. Your responsibilities include sweeping, keeping bathrooms clean and stocked, power washing, and emptying trash. Park service members should be self-starters! No experience is necessary, training is provided on site. 

We are seeking qualified EMT personnel for our summer operation. This is our smallest department, so spots are very limited. EMT's must provide certification paperwork and will need to go through Lifeguard certification - provided on site.
