Private Rentals

Enjoy The Wave for your own private event, birthday, group activity! The Wave is happy to serve your group or organization to make the best corporate event in Vista, North County or even San Diego! The options are endless and we are dedicated to making your event a memorable, exciting and smooth experience!

Private Rental Options & Fees

• Full Park Rental (1-500 guests) - $1,450 per hour

• Full Park Rental (501-750 guests) - $1,750 per hour

• Full Park Rental (751-1000 guests) - $1,950 per hour

• Full Park Rental (1001+ guests) - $2,150 per hour

• Flow Rider Rental - $350 per hour

• Flow Rider / River / Riptide Slide Rental - $600 per hour

• Slide Tower - $550 per hour

• Competition Pool - $215 per hour

• Splash Pad - $375 per hour

Meal Options

• Surf Spot Grill Concessions options:
  • Concessions is open and your guests meet a minimum of $300 in sales
  • Concessions is open with a running tab which is billed at the end of your event
• You may pay $1 per person to bring in your own food or catering* (no cooking is allowed on site)
• There are restaurants located around The Wave Waterpark your group may be able to meet at before your event

Reserving Your Event

Picnics and private rentals must be booked at least 14 days in advance and are available on a first come first serve basis. A 25% deposit is required to book a reservation. Estimates are important for booking your event. Please have an estimated attendance number and meal selection for easy booking or give us a call if you have any questions. To reserve your group, please stop by The Wave Office to book in person, or call (760) 940-WAVE to reserve over the phone.

Important Information

• No outside food, drinks, coolers, or cakes are permitted inside the park. We are unable to store items for you.

• Please ask us about special requests, DJ’s*, music accommodations, and other ways to make your event memorable.

• Private Rentals may request a cancellation and refund of their event deposit up to 2 weeks prior to the event date (full refund minus a
  $25 processing fee). Cancellations that occur within 2 weeks to 3 days prior to the event will be granted a refund minus a $50 cancellation processing fee. Cancellations that occur with less than 72 hour notice will be granted, however no deposit fee will be refunded. 

• Private Rentals may transfer their event date and deposit to a future date within 2 weeks to 3 days prior to the event at no penalty. Only one date transfer is permitted. Transfer requests that occur with less than 72 hour notice will not be granted.

*On site vendors, such as caterers, DJ's, or photo booths, etc. must provide proof of insurance. Contact us for more information.
