Our Jr. Guards are our priority we have a variety of safety procedures in place to makes sure camp is as safe as it is fun including:

• All instructors are drug tested & background checked
• All instructors are certified lifeguards trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, emergency oxygen and water rescues (with emergency equipment on site)
• All instructors have completed our extensive Wave Instructor Training
• Jr. Guards has a designated program staff including a Program Directors
• Jr. Guards has a ratio of 1 counselor to 12 campers
• Additional lifeguard and management staff is always on duty and available

The Wave has been operating camps for over 15 years. With over 3,500+ children in our summer programs, we have gained valuable experience. Our Jr. Guard Instructors and Program Directors are experienced in coordinating activities for large and small groups and handling all sorts of situations from emergencies to unique personal situations! We are ready and prepared!

We understand that as parents we want to provide our kids with as many fun and educational experiences as we are able to afford. We have purposely kept our programs at an affordable price to allow as many kids as possible to join in on the excitement. We also have an added free value of extended play till 4pm in the waterpark for just $5 per day (with a signed release)!

Jr. Guards will also be given real life experience and will be able to assist in the park and shadow guard with a real Wave Lifeguard. Our instructors reinforce our program rules to make sure all Jr. Guards are respected, listened to and involved! Our Instructors work to create a relationship of trust with each Jr. Guard to ensure there is open communication and a positive environment is achieved!
